Hey I’m Andrew McTeer and this is the blog for my company Bitporters Media (Bitporters Ltd.). I build apps for Windows & the web using Microsoft’s .NET framework in C#.

I’m 28 years old and I’ve been coding since 2001. My orginal focus was to video game development and other challenging graphical applications. In college I competed in programming competitions like the ACM, school run competitions and weekly competitions at topcoder.com.

Now I live in Ottawa Ontario and I freelance / take contracts to make a living. I can do web applications, desktop applications and XML webservices.
