FeedAmp Beta

February 3, 2007

FeedAmp is a Windows Vista/XP application designed to dictate your RSS feeds. FeedAmp also lets you burn these dictations to individual files to load on your favourite MP3 player. This lets you take your RSS on the go.

RSS feed dictation was a feature of my proof-of-concept in-car application DRADIS. DRADIS was created to show off the power of Windows Vista / .NET 3.0 for Microsoft’s Code Master Challenge competition. RSS dictation was my favourite feature so this is our first attempt at building a product from DRADIS.

I subcontracted the development of this product to the talented Daniel Crenna at Conatus Creative. Due to limited resources we could only get the application to this point. The goal of this open beta is to guage the level of interest in this type of tool and see what features users want. I am also asking for donations - if you see the potential of this application and want to see it grow, any donation will help.

  1. It was fun working on this tool with you, and I hope we get a chance to put some of the stuff we had to hold back into the next release.
