Got my money back plus an additional $1024 transfered into my account while I was sleeping. I have to admit I knew there was a chance the guy could have taken the money and run, but luckily this was the real deal.
I’ve had a massive spike in traffic and I picked up a few more subscribers to my RSS feed. These people are the ones who are willing to try new things and take risks — these people are my ideal target market for things I have coming up in the near future.
I checked the html source of mmmzr.com and it doesn’t seem like it’s tracking the click-outs to the sites. I think if Tadashi was showing people how much more traffic people were getting for being on the top row and how it scales /w the larger sums of money — more people would be inclined to buy with the higher prices.
I was thinking yesterday if this exact idea will go beyond this one application. What if the most popular bloggers all setup a “sponsored by” page that uses this exact same model? A smart wordpress plugin developer could make a module that does that plus gives the option to give a % to the developer for his troubles. I bet a “mmmzr” on JoelOnSoftware or Mashable would fill up pretty quick.
Anyway, it’s amazing how that site worked out for me, doubled my money quickly and picked up a bunch of new readers — just as promised. Lets see how far mmmzr goes, best of luck to the site owner and people buying the ads!

I don’t watch either so I let it slide. However if he said Prison Break was better than Battlestar Galactica then I would have done my business elsewhere:)

I missed that, but I fully agree anyway. Lost has been so “meh” lately it hurts.
Congrats again on your winnings dude. So rad! Makes me wish I waited a couple more spots and went a little bigger. But again, thanks for the heads up on this. I’m not usually the type of person to take part in something of this sort, but I’m sure glad I did.

very nice. I double my 300 buck in 2 day..traffic wasn’t that impressive.
The sad things is, those in the bottom (who pay a dollar) will get attention than those in the middle

But those at the bottom didn’t get the $300 you got. They only got $1. That’s the beauty of it.

@Ahkip - I think I see your point on why people would look on the outskirts.. but like I said in my post there is no way for sure of knowing unless he starts releasing click-stats.
@Jyse
It’s hilarious how quickly those got setup!

Another copy - http://www.pyrad.com - but at least it’s a little different. I doubled my $2 in less than a day, might take another punt when it gets up a bit higher. Difficult to guess where to stop though
