My girlfriend went away on a business trip this weekend leaving me to my own devices. Well those devices happen to be my fancy new video card and my HDTV:)
Here are some shots of me playing my favourite games BattleField2, Civ4 and I also got the Call of Duty 2 demo running pretty well on here too.
I had a frustrating time hooking my CPU up to my TV this time last year while I was playing DOOM 3. This time around was a much better experience. I was never able to get my TV above 800×600 last time, this time I was able to get things running well at 720p. It wasn’t perfect but it was good enough, I lost a few columns of pixels. Although ATI just released some new HDTV tools, Powerstrip made this all happen.
In the end though, my CRT tv wasn’t that crisp. If I could go back in time, I would have told myself to wait for a big LCD screen. They would look a billion times better plus I wouldn’t have to ask my friends to help me move it all the time:)

That’s so rad dude! Totally jealous of your TV. I really need to get a nice 16×9 LCD monitor. Dell has a nice 20″ one for a decent price - or at least, I’ve seen it pretty cheap on eBay. One of these days…
