Busy! I promised myself I’d do a few posts a week, I’ve been slipping!
I have been working on the next major release of Knighthunter.com (”Earth”). The next version will have micro-sites (3rd party hosted resume listing/submission sites). Also, since moving from Intranetland to Internetland I now have to worry about things like xhtml and how it looks in different browsers. Lets just say I was shocked when I found out Tables are out and Divs are in:) Doing minor switches has dramatically reduced the bandwidth usage of the site. I hope to get this release online in the next few days.
I did a minor update on Gunsgunsguns but nothing worth mentioning. I got my Chris Sells WPF book so I want to go through that cover to cover before I put more work into it. Once KH-Earth goes live I will put more time into it.
Last note, here is some worthwhile reading. Read this EBook - The Bootstrapper’s Bible . Seth Godin (my new hero) has saved me a great deal of time. I no longer have to explain Bitporters business model, I can now just point to this book and say “What he said”. Knowing that what I’m doing is ‘Bootstrapping’ has given me a bit of relief, I thought I was crazy to go this route. Knowing others have succeeded this way gives me a bit of comfort.
