I’ve been thinking about the potential of Squidoo. This is Seth Godins project that we are all buzzing about right now. Keep in mind this is all what I’ve pieced together + some assumptions.
Public RSS Aggregation is what I’m crossing my fingers for. Private aggregation is pretty popular right now (Start.com, Google IG), but if this service allows us to consume other RSS feeds to be redisplayed on our “lenses” then incredible things will happen. These lenses are actually going to be people ’sneezing’ and getting paid for it. If they give us the right tools, a person could easily link a few good RSS feeds with some referral links to products for sale mixed in with a really good background story. Because our lenses will be linked to other sources, our page will be somewhat self updating.
This will be a great kind of Online Asset, I’m going to investigate as soon as I get the chance.
